Like acorns? This Sawtooth Oak produces lots of them, and they're a great source of food for wildlife (deer, squirrels, etc.) This is a moderate to fast-growing tree, and the leaves go from green in spring and summer to golden yellow in the fall, and finally to brown in winter, but remain on the tree as you see in the picture. These are 1 year old seedlings, and they're healthy and thriving. The Sawtooth Oak is a member of the White Oak family and is resistant to disease and great in the Eastern U.S. especially which makes it a pretty worthy purchase.
