The Yellow crookneck is a summer squash with pale yellow sweet flesh and a crooked neck as the name suggests. It can be eaten raw, used in salads, grilled, or used like zucchini in many recipes. It is typically said to taste more like winter squash and to have the best flavor when harvested when it is 5-6 inches long.
