Very weather-resistant, and in southern areas, it has been known to overwinter. Also a fine houseplant, it is not too fussy about soil and is generally carefree and long-lasting!
Start the seeds indoors, germinating them at 70 to 75 degrees F. They need light to germinate, so place them on top of the soil mix if using a seed tray, or on top of the bio sponge if using the Bio Dome.

Beautiful dark pink and white blooms. The 12- to 15-inch-tall plants are bushy and neat, needing neither pruning nor clean-up, and both the blossoms and their stems are weather-resistant and sturdy.
