There is nothing better than homegrown grapes! The purple Concord grape is one of the best. These grapes are great when used to make jam and jelly. Use this grape to make juice or house wine. They will ripen in late September. These vines bloom in late spring to early summer. These vines can be trained to climb a trellis. Plant the vines in full sun and plant in rows. Medium water required and best when planted in will drained soil. Shallow cultivation during the early growing months and summer mulching will do wonders for your grapevines. Prune the vines in the winter. Not only is the grapes great to eat, but can add to your landscape. The grapevine can provide good cover, screening or shade to areas around the home. The flowers can attract bees. Birds also love the grapes.
Purchase a 3pk of healthy 2yr old bare root grapevines and a bonus. Plant in full sun and in well draines loamy soil
